Welcome to my new website. The old one was cool but I wanted something to make a bit more personal (shoutout to bridget/doggirl for helping out with the last website, check out her pages!)

My name is Logan and I am from southern New Jersey. I am a nursing student. I enjoy making music, skateboarding, painting, sculpting, and running.

I am still working on this entire site, so I apologize for its current form.

Some other things about me; I want another cat (so Gollum has friends, he only has a few right now) and I just started getting into making these websites.

MY THOUGHTS: Fucking love sadistic intent. Who wouldnt? Been bumping them heavy recently while just doing schoolwork. The melody is insane, especially for a pretty primitive death metal band. Insane drum sound too. My favorite song from this was probably Morbid Faith.

Went to my dad's spot in West Virginia. Love going here. No people and youre in the middle of the woods!

My favorite part about West Virginia (and Virginia) is the fact that true American beauty surrounds you no matter where you are in the state. Nothing but beautiful hills, fields, and mountains.

Whats up fellas. I'm almost done the first semester of my second year in nursing school and it beat the shit out of me. Only two more finals and i'm home free! Really looking forward to a few things this winter break:
seeing my girlfriend a bunch and going to FLORIDA TOGETHER!!

Other than that things have been good. Gollum just got over a parasite (WHICH WAS A PAIN IN THE ASS TO DEAL WITH) but at least he's okay now. Illustration below.

Other than that, I gave one of my good friends Bridget (doggirl on neocities / scholomance on bandcamp. Check her out!) some of my other gear to borrow and record with. We gon get a gnarly ass split working soon, and possibly a project together. I'm also trying to put together a dogshit XP / Win 2000 build to run CS Source on and doom and shit. HMU if you have old ass parts youre willing to part with for either a) FREE! or b) less than five dollars!

Currently sitting in the Philadelphia Airport waiting for El and I's flight to leave for Orlando. We're on our way to see my grandparents. Nothing too crazy about coming to the airport; usual TSA bullshit. Currently in need of a drink!!

January 5, 2025 - Return from Flo Rida

First, happy new year. 2024 was eh. Florida was a great time the entire way through!! It was nice to see my grand parents and for them to meet my girlfriend. Lots of Stories;

First full day there was new years eve. We went to this square with this cover band playing and saw a million seniors breaking it down out there. Even in their old age they were grooving. Had a few beers and went to bed at like 10 pm. Nice quiet new years.

The next day, we went shooting. I had shot a bunch before, but it was my first time shooting a .40. Not to jerk myself off but this guy can aim!!! It was Ella's first time shooting handguns, and we shot .22, .380, 9mm, and .40. God bless the USA baby!!

After this we went to disney world, and holy shit what a mess. I used to go a bunch when I was a kid but its changed a lot. Super crowded (kinda expected but) and everyone was extremely rude. People were walking over eachother and no one spoke English. This lesbian couple with BBLs stalled up the haunted mansion line because they had to take a picture. Fucking dogshit. Started in magic kingdom, ate dinner (smoked duck fried rice -- FUCKING AMAZING DUDE) in epcot, rode the tower of terror and went home. Overall, not too bad, but not at all worth the money we spent.

On the final day, we werent feeling too good so we chilled for most of the day. Then we started drinking and seeing music. I drank wayyyyyy too much. According to Ella I was digging in my eyes for my contacts for like 20 minutes. I can still see, so I guess it wasnt too bad.

Back here in Southern New Jersey it is stupid cold. Went from weather in the 70s in florida to the 20s in jersey. It is snowing like crazy! Havent seen snow like this in a while, and I sure am enjoying it (until I get to my car :P)

January 11, 2025 - End of Break and Return to College

Getting ready to go back to college and im very unexcited. I have to buy a bunch of random bullshit, including a nurses pack which is required to be purchased from our overpriced bookstore. You can get a nurse pack anywhere online for like $100, but instead we have to spend $297 at the bookstore. I have to get my scrubs (again, from the bookstore) and I have to stop smoking pot. I have to do a drug test soon, so im starting an extreme detox monday, which should have me set by the 21st.

Modded my Flying V! Put a late 60s style vibrola in place of the stop bar. Loving it so far!

January 21, 2025 - Dreadful Return

How is everyone doing? Today is the first day of classes and I am currently sitting in my foundations of nursing theory class (I promise Im paying attention!) and we're just doing syllabus bullshit. I can already tell this is gonna be a busy year; lots of work and very little room to breathe. I have all of my supplies; and no money left now. I had to get new boots, scrubs, a nurses pack (which includes tuning forks, a stethoscope, a sphymomanometer AKA blood pressure cuff, medical shears, and penlights). I have to start doing my requirements for fucking castlebranch dude, and its like half a jillion things. They need paperwork proving I don't have a criminal record, as well as my immunization records, WHICH I GOT WHEN I APPLIED TO NURSING SCHOOL! Whats the deal? Why can't they just use those records? No use in arguing tho, I'll just get my records and submit those. Luckily we have til april.

In other news, the detox is going swell! I don't feel the urge to smoke at all, when I was pretty addicted to the stuff for about a year. Not smoking until June, and I think it'll make my relationship with pot a lot better. I plan on spending the first summer day listening to the wall and sharing a joint with my lovely girlfriend (Hey Ella! < 3)

THIS PART IS TYPED AT 11:05 PM, Wayyy after class ended. Had to actually pay attention and take some notes. The first day back wasn't bad. Spent the rest of the day with Ella and it was pretty chill. Tomorrow I have Wellness Assessment as well as Clinical Pathophysiology. Totally looking forward to that (dear reader, I hope youre good with sarcasm).

First week(ish?) of the second semester is over. Mostly just syllabus bullshit with a bit of notes for every class I've gone to. So far so good, but I know that will soon change. Trying my best to stay organized and on top of everything!! It's gonna be rough but I know i'll pull through.

A few updates! First, I got a haircut! I haven't cut my hair in around 5 years except for small trims, and I finally got a new hairstyle. Still long as hell but I have bangs now. I really like it, but my mom said I looked straight out of 1984. Sorry I look so depressed in this picture. I promise thats just how I look.

In other news, I just released a split cassette with my good friend Bridget (or doggirl for any of yall that follow her on here). Go check it out HERE!

It's been tough to keep up with music with all of this schoolwork, so i'm just releasing old material that I kept cassette-only. I am going to put out another KONETSKA full length this summer when I have more time, as I never want to force my creativity!! There will also be another Prison of Flesh album too, as well as the first demo/EP from my new death metal band, DYSURIA. BE WARNED!

sorry, i get excited about this. I was in 8th grade when we won our first superbowl, i am now a sophomore in college and were gonna fucking DO IT AGAIN!!! Cummanders sucked dick!!!!
Me and the lads went to the tailgate at like 11 and were plastered by 12. Watched the game with great people eating great food. Seriously, COULDNT have asked for a better night!!!

As soon as we won, we went to broad street to enjoy the chaos of philly sports.

February 4, 2025 - Saying Goodbye

This one is a sad one.

Yesterday, around 3 PM, I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog, Pie. She was the sweetest girl.

She suffered a spinal stroke and completely lost her ability to move her hind legs. I was on the train heading to band practice when my mom called me saying things weren't good at the vet. I had this stomach feeling that it just wasn't going to be okay.
When I was almost at my stop, I got the call that I had to head home to say goodbye. It all felt so sudden. It still doesn't feel real. She was eleven years old, turning twelve in August.
Every moment I spent with her was heaven. She would run up to you and bark like hell when you first walked through the door; then just sniff your leg and walk away.
She had only one eye, due to being abused as a puppy. That was when we rescued her from the blind dog association. I remember watching her walk through our door in January of 2014.
She always smiled at you with this little grin, and stuck her tongue out at you whenever she would wake up from a nap.
She would let you lay on her at any time, and was so comfortable to be with. I remember times when I was really sad, crying on the floor, and she would run up to me and lay next to me, licking my hands and face.

Savor every moment with your animals. To me, they have always been my best friends and family.

Could not be happier. So far, 2025 has been pretty dogshit and this was definitely the sun shining through the clouds.

March 12, 2025 - End of Midterms

How're ya'll doing?? Havent checked in in over a month! Sorry for the absence, been working my ass off in school. Learned injections, IVs, and medication administration and such. It's been a rough few weeks, and I'm really happy to be done midterms!! I did pretty well on my exams. I got a 95 on my wellness exam, an 82 on my clinical pathophysiology exam, and an 85 on my foundations of nursing exam. Time for spring break!!!

So you may be wondering:

What're you doing for spring break???

I know, I know, it's probably been on your mind for days.
I've been writing hella music for DYSURIA and we have our first demo written. Getting ready to practice, and we'll probably be performing for the first time in the summer. Haven't been writing anything for Konetska to save it all for Dysuria.

Other plans for spring break include drinking, hanging out, grilling, working out; being a scum bag. Gotta update my t-shirt section soon. I've had my DOOM 64 shirt for a while now but never got a pic.

March 23, 2025 - Updates and Back to School

Whats up guys!!!

GUESS WHO PASSED THEIR DRUG TEST? Lol, usually thats nothing to talk about, but I'm bragging since I was somehow still pissing positive after 2 months of not smoking. Huge relief to me! I'm starting classes again this tuesday, and I have to begin getting ready for my finals. The school year is flying by, and before I know it I will be done my sophomore year.
I have also built my schedule for next semester, and I can already tell it's gonna be tough. I've been okay so far, so I hope I can retain this streak next semester.

Spring break was fun. Drank a lot, went skating, played guitar, etc. The Dysuria demo is complete and will be recorded soon. Even been thinking about writing another demo and combining them to debut Dysuria with a heavy LP. Everything is still very, very WIP. Super pumped to make this my main project tho. I still love Konetska and making that shit, but sometimes I feel it has ran it's course. This is in no way me saying I am quitting with that project, just sharing thoughts.

Plus, I've wanted to play guitar live since I started playing and I am yet to do that. Konetska live would be hell to orchestrate. Dysuria will allow me to play guitar super comfortably.

April 27, 2025 - This is the End

It's not over yet, but its damn close to it!! Only about two more weeks left until im officially HALFWAY through nursing school!!!
There have been many struggles this year, most which have been my fuckass roommate. But we did it!! All I have left is finals and then im out of here!!! This year has sure been a handful, and there were both good times and bad times. I'm lucky to have my cat and my girlfriend to keep my head on straight!!!!

Shit this year that I hated: my wellness lectures, my fuckass loser roommate, the ENTIRETY of clinical patho and microbiology, my loser art history professor, that one bitch who would talk on the phone outloud for the entire wellness lecture, etc....

The summer fast approaches, and I have many plans. First of all, I'm working this summer as much as I can, saving money while I can. Gotta move back into my room that I fucking hate, but i'm sure the music will keep me sane. That's how it was when I started Konetska. Hoping to write another full length for that this June, while also still writing Dysuria. First show for Dysuria will be this summer.

In other news, I got a pretty nice apartment for next year (with gollum of course)!! Enough room for all my shit, this year the room was a little small. With this apartment I will be able to have a permanant setup with a kit that I won't have to continuously pack up and set back up. I began packing shit up in my current apartment, and now it feels so empty. I can't wait to hit my favorite thrift store for furniture. I've always wanted to get a really nice desk but just haven't had the space. Thankfully I will this August, and I'm sure i'll be writing the blog post for that in no time!!!

I'm really gonna miss Gollum every day, as I will not be able to keep him this summer due to my mom's allergies. I will add a countdown to when I see him next. He always remains in control!!

May 21, 2025 - The End + Start of Summer

Officially done my second year of nursing school. It really sucked, to be completely honest. So much work, but I actually had a lot of fun in my labs and looked forward to going to each one. I definitely WON'T miss the exams and assessments. Excited to enjoy my summer and hopefully save some money. Although my summer is off to a bad start due to some personal reasons, but i'm sure it will get better. Just focused on working and saving money, along with playing music with my friends. I'm sure it will be a fun summer, and I will definitely continue to update.

Unfortunately, I do have to do some sort of remediation course for ONE exam I failed (it was all pharm questions when we haven't taken pharm). Just an assignment every week, not too bad. In other news, I had to give Gollum to my friend for the summer. He can not live with me at my house due to my families allergies, so he had to be relocated for the summer. I get him back when I move back in for next semester, and I really miss him :(( I hope he is okay.

Now i cant write all this with complete clearness, I must admit my bias. Recently life has gone south insanely quick and im definitely losing my head a bit. But with the headlines, and the coincidences in my life, and just overall gut feeling: i have a reallll bad feeling about the world within the next year. 2025 already felt like the year something major happens, now its all feeling real. I dont wanna get political, but if the US gets involved in this bullshit then we are D-O-N-E FUCKED! How many times do we have to learn that the middle east is never a good idea? How many times do we have to take shit because of israels bullshit? I already hear north korea and russia commenting on it, and it all feels like some franz ferdinand shit.

On the recent friday the 13th, it rained ashes, followed by a blood red sky the following morning. It felt almost apocalyptic.

Everyday its like i wake up and the world is somehow worse. I dont wanna sound like a fucking loser either trust me i dont mope around, im just talking world status. It feels like a world downfall, as if humans are the self eating snake and we are almost too close to swallowing our tails. In other news, still doing music and such. Been working on the Dysuria demo and its pretty fucking good, i hope everyone enjoys it. Other than that, just been sweating my ass off working in the bakery. Its not terrible, but its a super early job (5am) and that bakery boils in the summer months. Money aint bad, definitely need to save that this summer. I was gonna buy a moped but decided against it, as I really dont need one right now. Ive also been going to the gym and I think i look a bit bigger. in other news: i miss her.

TOTAL NUCLEAR WAR: MY ESTIMATE???: may 14, 2026

All i know is i aint dying for israel!!!! ill take a million hand grenades in the teeth for a good cause, but we havent fought for a good cause in almost a hundred years. I doubt there will be a draft but if there is im gonna keep pictures of gollum in my helmet.

i imagine a situation like this: im deep in an iranian trench and theyve wiped out my entire platoon except me and 3 guys. We take cover and return fire, but one of my men is shot. His helmet rolls off, revealing his wife and newborn baby inside. I remove my helmet and stare deep into the eyes of gollum, and i can almost hear him say to me "throw a grenade a little to the left". "as you wish" i whisper, as i rip the pin out using my belt and fucking baseball pitch that shit directly into an iranian bunker, instantly vaporizing every retard inside. I think if netanyahu and the ayatollah sat down with gollum theyd rethink this whole war thing...
Sometimes war is good, but I fear this is not one of those times. I dont think those guys are building nuclear weapons, but hey maybe im wrong. Maybe someday ill make a reply/update to this long ass post.
